Description:

In the fuel cell hydrogen path, the high-pressure hydrogen output by the storage system (usually 350~700bar) is reduced by the pressure reducing valve to the medium-pressure range (about 5~20bar), and then enters the stack after precise regulation by the proportional valve. The medium-pressure pressure sensor is installed between the pressure reducing valve and the proportional valve. It is responsible for monitoring in real time the hydrogen pressure before the proportional valve and providing a precise pressure signal to the fuel cell system controller (FCU), ensuring the proportional valve precisely regulates the hydrogen supply according to system demand.

The HK2013P09 medium-pressure pressure sensor is a pressure detection product developed by Zhejiang Hongsheng specifically for the hydrogen system of fuel cell vehicles. The sensor uses advanced pressure sensing technology to convert the hydrogen pressure signal into a 0.5~4.5V ratiometric voltage output, where the signal is linearly proportional to the supply voltage. The FCU can calculate the current hydrogen pressure value by reading this voltage signal.

Product output characteristic formula: Vout/Vcc x 100 = 3.33333 x P + 6.66667, where P is the input pressure (MPaA).

Main features include: automotive-grade design (working temperature range -40C~105C, meeting harsh vehicle environment requirements); high accuracy (pressure accuracy <=1.5%, error <=2.5% at high temperature 125C, error <=3.0% at low temperature -40C); fast response (response time <=2ms, able to track pressure changes in real time); high reliability (protection class IP67, dustproof and waterproof); hydrogen corrosion resistance (sensor material and structure optimized for hydrogen medium, ensuring long-term stable operation); long maintenance interval (3 years/100,000 km). Installation: vertical installation recommended.

Fuel Cell Medium Pressure Hydrogen Sensor HK2013P09 0-20bar High Accuracy 1.5% Automotive GradeApplications:

This product is widely used in the hydrogen path of various proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) systems, specifically including:

  • Hydrogen fuel commercial vehicles (heavy trucks, city buses, logistics vehicles)
  • Hydrogen fuel passenger vehicles (sedans, SUVs)
  • Stationary fuel cell power stations (backup power, distributed energy systems)
  • Hydrogen fuel cell ships
  • Fuel cell system test benches

Typical application position: installed in the hydrogen pipeline at the rear end of the storage system pressure reducing valve and the front end of the proportional valve, monitoring the hydrogen pressure entering the proportional valve in real time. The sensor converts the pressure signal into a voltage signal and transmits it to the FCU, which controls the opening of the proportional valve according to the signal to precisely regulate the hydrogen flow entering the stack.
