Description:
The T series throttle valve uses a dual eccentric butterfly valve structure, with rubber sealing between the valve plate and the valve seat (metal sealing optional), significantly improving the opening and closing capability of the valve while ensuring low flow resistance. The product has a strict sealing design; under a 60kPa pressure difference the fully-closed leakage is less than 0.5ml/min, effectively closing the stack air cavity and preventing outside air from entering the stack after shutdown, thereby extending the stack service life. In the initial state the electronic throttle is fully closed and sealed; when shut down and powered off, it ensures the fuel cell stack is in a positive pressure state and prevents fresh air from entering.
The T series product has a self-diagnosis function: once a component or control error occurs, the intelligent control will adopt a default fully-open state to protect the throttle body and the stack. In addition, the product has an ice-breaking function that can remove external foreign objects such as thin ice.
In the fuel cell air path, the T series throttle valve can be applied at three key positions:
Stack inlet shut-off valve: controls the air flow entering the stack, closing tightly after system shutdown to prevent air from entering;
Stack outlet back pressure valve: adjusts the stack outlet back pressure to optimize the stack working pressure;
Bypass valve: discharges excess gas, adjusting the system air supply balance, diluting the residual hydrogen discharged from the anode side and avoiding air compressor surge.

See product specification image.
Applications:
This product is widely used in the air path systems of various proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC), specifically including:
- Stack inlet shut-off valve: installed before the stack air inlet, controlling the air flow entering the stack and closing tightly after system shutdown to prevent air from entering
- Stack outlet back pressure valve: installed after the stack air outlet, adjusting the stack outlet back pressure and optimizing the stack working pressure
- Bypass valve: installed in the bypass pipeline, discharging excess gas, adjusting the system air supply balance, diluting the residual hydrogen discharged from the anode side and avoiding air compressor surge
Applicable scenarios:
- Hydrogen fuel commercial vehicles (heavy trucks, city buses, logistics vehicles, sanitation vehicles)
- Hydrogen fuel passenger vehicles (sedans, SUVs)
- Stationary fuel cell power stations (backup power, distributed energy systems)
- Hydrogen fuel cell ships
- Fuel cell forklifts and port material handling equipment

FAQ
Q1: Can you provide samples for testing?
A: Yes, we support sample orders for vehicle installation testing and performance verification, and also accept mixed-model sample orders.
Q2: What is the delivery lead time?
A: Sample orders usually take 5-7 working days; bulk orders (depending on order quantity) generally take 15-30 working days.
Q3: Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ) limit?
A: There is no strict MOQ limit; 10-piece sample trial orders are supported, and bulk order prices are more favorable.
Q4: How is the sealing performance of the T series throttle valve?
A: The T series uses a dual eccentric butterfly valve structure with rubber sealing between the valve plate and the valve seat (metal sealing optional); under a 60kPa pressure difference the fully-closed leakage is less than 0.5ml/min, effectively closing the stack air cavity and preventing outside air from entering the stack after shutdown and causing performance degradation.
Q5: What diameters are available for the T series throttle valve?
A: Five diameters are available: T25, T32, T38, T44 and T50, adapting to fuel cell systems of different power levels such as 30~100kW, 80~120kW, 100~150kW and 130~200kW.
Q6: What are the installation requirements of the throttle valve?
A: Vertical shaft installation is recommended; use M6 grade 8.8 mounting bolts with a torque of 10+/-2N.m. Prevent condensed water from entering the shaft hole of the throttle body (the bearing point should be in the horizontal upper area).
Q7: What intelligent functions does the throttle valve have?
A: The product has built-in intelligent control software with position PID control, self-diagnosis, fail-safe (controlling the valve plate to the fully open position on abnormality), ice-breaking (removing external foreign objects such as thin ice) and CAN communication message feedback.
Q8: How to handle product failures?
A: We implement a strict quality control system, with an out-of-factory defect rate below 0.2%. During the warranty period, small batches of defective products will be replaced with new ones in the next order; batch quality problems will be negotiated for repair or replacement to ensure customer rights.
